THE DARAS COMBINE

The Daras Combine is an international community of various nations and states from the Near East, Central Asia and North Africa. Its fleet, Al-Musta’mara, consist of considerably less military grade ships, mainly because it was the Daras fleet that took the hardest hits in the desperate defense of the last human colony. Just three years later, the only option was to resort to repurposing civilian ships. With less raw strength at its disposal, the fleet relies more on the few exceptionally illustrious personalities in its leadership, both in the military and in the science department.

**Gretel Madan**
Fleet Admiral

Despite her young age, Gretel Madan is a veteran of various conflicts on Earth, and has already excelled as part of the military leadership of the Daras Combine. Not much is known about her past or personal life, but her experiences have turned her into a careful and strategic leader.
Gretel is known to appear rather pessimistic and even cynical, but it’s just her being always prepared for the worst outcomes and never counting on success.

**Elazar Ben Hayim**
Minister of Management

*“What else can we do? We’ve given them everything in our power. There’s just... No pleasing them.”*
Ben Hayim is an empathic and very co-operative leader, but on the other hand he lacks some self-confidence and that makes him a little susceptible to pressure and deliberate influencing in his decision-making. Ben Hayim is very good at understanding and relating to different viewpoints and positions, but sometimes lacks the courage to step up and offer a compromise himself.

**Ibrahim Al-Hajjar**
Minister of Technology

Being an extremely talented, perhaps even a lifestyle scientist, Ibrahim has great visions for the scientific opportunities offered by the Pegasus Galaxy. Al-Hajjar and his teams have made remarkable discoveries regarding atmospheric research and their planetary habitation program.
Al-Hajjar sees many things differently than an average person, which makes him the unique mind he is. However, sometimes it makes his communication with such average persons a little complicated.
