Sent to the Pegasus galaxy by the United States, the 1st Expeditionary is well armed, funded and manned, and ready to face almost anything a new galaxy can offer. In terms of pure military capability as well as solid combat experience, the 1st Expeditionary is the military backbone of the Expedition.

Admiral Reed is a lifelong professional soldier, who respects ability and achievements over titles. He is unshakeably loyal to his troops, who have stood by his side through the many military setbacks that eventually led to the formation of the Pegasus Expedition.
Admiral Reed’s career hasn’t been the most glorious one so far, but there aren’t many who can match his experience, confidence and audacity.
Joann Hartley

Bold and upfront CIA officer Joann Hartley is somewhat famous for her risky operations against the Colossals, especially during the partly unsuccessful evacuation of the last surviving human colony, Novaya Moskva.
Joann is a woman of strong principles and she doesn’t hesitate to make any sacrifices needed for the sake of the fleet or humanity. Not even if it were to come down to her own life.
Maria Suero
Diplomat
"I'm afraid there's no room for diplomacy, not anymore... We're far beyond that."
Maria Suero is one of the best diplomats one can find on Earth. She is a skilled and persistent negotiator, who keeps talking and finding new details and approaches until she gets what she wants.
To her colleagues Suero is a rather motherly and empathic figure, both qualities that make her an enjoyable person to be around and work with. However, she’s known to be rather fierce when her endless patience runs out.
Harry Roche
Chief Logistics Officer

Harry was nominated for the position of the logistics officer for partially political reasons, as the ruling party wanted a representative in the fleet's leadership. He keeps his cool and composure even in the toughest of situations, remaining businesslike and professional. That quality has been one the main reasons his political career has been so successful.
Harry holds professional politeness and good manners in high value, and he is known to act like a gentleman at all times.
